Hatha, Iyengar, vinyasa flow, Kundalini, gentle. All styles taught through the Tantric System. The asana (physical practice) all focuses on the energies behind poses, not merely fitness. HOW IT WORKS. Students are trained individually as is the tradition in India. They bring their strengths and passion and are trained to use them as teachers to develop their own instructional style. As the student progresses through our non-profit center they begin looking for an area(s) of special focus to serve the community where they will work toward the end of training and one year following. (Karma yoga) The weekends are when most credit hours occur. 9 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday and Sunday with special workshops on some afternoons. During the week students are encouraged to attend a variety of workshops of public classes staying afterward for half an hour to discuss the class. Students can schedule one private class per month with Beth as needed. The first month of classes are a trial period for students $180 covers training for the month after which the student and teacher decide whether to continue the training. Nine monthly payments of $180 or $1,430 paid full (full payment must be made prior to graduation). All credit hours must be in two hours blocks with Beth instructing to meet the Yoga Alliance's requirements. This is not a fitness training all teaching is in the classical yoga tradition in which asana practice is only one part. _________________________________________________________ 500 HOUR TEACHER TRAINING The 500 hour program is treated as graduate study. A candidate having completed 200 hours begins refining their specialization or may choose more than one. One student may focus on Parkinson's, arthritis therapy, and diabetes related therapeutics, for instance. The student will assist in workshops and plan workshops of their own with a senior instructor. They are expected to attend and assist in teacher training programs and do additional research on class and workshop topics. Service work in their field(s) is required. Week day class attendance is encouraged and one on one time with primary ERYT is scheduled as needed. The requirements for 500 hour training are listed on the Yoga Alliance website. One month trial period is required for students new to TEACH to Inspire at $250. Cost is $2,500 total with a $200 reduction when paid in full at start of the program or 10 monthly payments of $250.
